Sales Support Executive

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

In support of the mission statement of Brenner-Fiedler & Associates Inc., the Business Relations Executive, under the direction of the Business Relations Manager, provides assistance to Brenner Fiedler Sales Engineers and Brenner-Fiedler customers.

This position collaborates with outside sales, vendors, manages leads, receives requests/inquiries/orders from customers and provides information and price quotations to customers.

Business Relations Executive must be enthusiastic, and goal oriented to develop and implement growth opportunities within their assigned territory.  Business Relations Executive must be outgoing, flexible and willing to learn product lines.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. 1. Process high volume of incoming requests via telephone, fax, e-mail etc.
    2. 2. Report Complaints to Brenner-Fiedler’s Quality Management Representative.
    3. 3. Work with the Accounting Department to establish new accounts.
    4. 4. Expedite orders with factory if necessary.
    5. 5. Proactively manage assigned accounts/territory and assigned Key Accounts.
    6. 6. Work with salesmen to offload tactical account management responsibilities/opportunities/territory stratification plans.
    7. 7. Assist and book quality sales appointments & identify decision makers within targeted market/accounts to begin sales process and strategic approaches.
    8. 8. Promptly process factory and sales leads in P21 CRM.
    9. 9. Refer technical inquiries and/or special discount requests to appropriate Sales Engineer.
    10. 10. Develop relationships with customers.
    11. 11. Actively contribute in all department and company meetings.
    12. 12. Processing Factory Leads.
    13. 13. Processing RMA’s.
    14. 14. Entering Builds.
    15. 15. Managing Delivery/Backlog.
    16. 16. Territory Plan Management.
    17. 17. Identify and advise management of opportunities for improvement in your daily job duties.
    18. 18. Maintain performance standards/goals.
    19. 19. Additional duties as assigned.
    20. 20. Provide the best customer experience

QUALIFICATIONS

    1. 1. Strong background in inside sales, 1-2 years’ experience (B2B industry experience in distribution/manufacturing preferred).
    2. 2.    Must be able to communicate well both orally and in writing.
    3. 3.    Solid data entry Skills with exceptional attention to detail.
    4. 4.    Must be courteous, cordial and enthusiastic in assisting customers.
    5. 5.    Must demonstrate ability to expedite, investigate and analyze pertinent information to determine appropriate action to be taken.
    6. 6.    Ability to handle large volumes of calls, orders, and quotes on a daily basis with efficiency.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    1. 1.    Strong customer service orientation.
    2. 2.    Ability to communicate tactfully with fellow employees, customers and factory representatives.
    3. 3.    Ability to understand and carry out both oral and written instructions in an independent manner.
    4. 4.    Ability to organize and prioritize work to successfully meet established timelines and manage sales process.
    5. 5.    Ability to operate computer, designated software, calculator, and other standard office equipment.
    6. 6.    Ability to develop and maintain cooperative and effective relationships with individuals and groups.
    7. 7.    Knowledge of basic software applications; previous experience with and/or aptitude to learn Prophet 21.
